My Journey...
I was an energetic and sensitive child, deeply aware of others, which I now understand as being an empath. I loved gymnastics, and looking back, it was my first way of connecting to my body and quieting my mind. As I moved through my teenage years, that connection began to fade. By college, I often felt anxious and overwhelmed—giving so much of myself while feeling increasingly disconnected within. One day, I took a free yoga class. As I focused on my breath and body, something shifted. My anxiety softened, and I felt a sense of steadiness return. From that point on, yoga became an essential part of my self-care.
In 2014, I moved to San Francisco and began my yoga teacher training to deepen my practice. Through this experience, I found a sense of clarity and inner peace that inspired me to share this work with others. Wanting to offer more, I continued into a yoga therapy training program in 2016, completing over 1000 hours of study. Today, I am deeply inspired to support others in reconnecting with themselves.
As a Special Education Teacher and Yoga Therapist, I am passionate about making yoga accessible to all. I believe yoga is truly for everyone, with benefits that reach far beyond the physical. In 2016, I developed a school-based yoga program for diverse learners, and I continue to offer private, adapted sessions. All are welcome here, just as you are.
